Stefanie Wierda is a fine and abstract artist based in the Netherlands. Her work explores themes of identity, memory, and belonging through richly textured, abstract figurative art. Stefanie draws inspiration from her cultural background and past experiences, transforming them into visual expressions through layered materials and symbolic elements.

Stefanie began her formal artistic journey at The Liberal Art School of The Hague (2010–2011) and later graduated from The Fine Arts Academy of Haarlem-Leiden in 2019. In pursuit of further artistic mastery, she joined the Milan Art Institute’s Mastery Program in 2023, completing it in 2024.

Using a mix of techniques—including painting, collage, ink, and printmaking—Stefanie’s work is rich in texture and depth. Her art revisits and reimagines memories from her youth, interpreting them through cultural symbols, decorative patterns, and expressive color. Her pieces often reflect her exploration of identity and the blending of cultural influences across time.

Stefanie has exhibited her work across several years in the Netherlands (2019, 2021, 2022, and 2024) and internationally in Amman, Jordan (2023), sharing her deeply personal and visually compelling works with a growing audience.
